I
recently graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Interactive
Telecommunications Program. The Interactive Telecomunications
program combines art and technology with experimentation. Courses
range from topics such as wireless technologies to physical
computing. After two years of programming, designing, and basically
trying to learn as much as I could in my time there, I am now
working on combining my interest in new technologies with my
love of the fine arts.
I
am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. While in St. Louis I
studied photography. My work during this time focused on rural
scenes and community life. I also spent time working aboard
a cruise ship and photographing the West Coast of the United
States from Alaska to California while on board.
Currently
my work is focused on the combination of photography and new
media. My thesis, Camera
Phone Mural, is a public mural that users can upload images
to through the use of a camera phone.
